After completing my BA in Sociology and Social Change with minors in Graphic Design and Political Science, at Lesley University, in Cambridge, MA, I found a fundamental connection between both social sciences and visual design, that helps explain and communicate their meanings.
There are many barriers that separate individuals, dialect, race, sex, etc..., but the beauty of a good design, is that anyone should be able to understand, without any context, what the creator is attempting to get across. I believe design should be more about the message or meaning of their art, they need to think about the viewer and the eyes that will perceive the work in different ways.
During my employment with Ruggable, I found a passion for physical products and production design. Using my social design background I have been able to ensure that the consumer is top priority while developing my skills in photo editing, print design, and production development.
I am well-versed in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects, as well as Microsoft Office Suit. I have intensive experience in Production and Print design, Typographic Design, Color Design, Photography and Photo Editing, Copywriting, and Interactive Design.
